I have a question about information in computer cases?

We just bought a new computer - the actual computer, not it's case. We're planning on keep the case of the old computer and just use it with the new monitor. But when we take about the old monitor and put in the new one, will all the information, music, downloaded goodies from the old one be on the new one automatically. Or will we have to do something to transfer it?I have a question about information in computer cases?
When referring to the computer the Tower is usually what come to mind.

If what you call the case is the Tower and it is not changed then you shouldn't need to transfer anything. However, whatever new components such as printer ,monitor, speakers etc.. attached to the old Tower should required new driver installation. Windows will install drivers for them but most of them are not sufficient for best performance. You need to get the drivers from the cd that came with it or download from the manufacturer's web siteI have a question about information in computer cases?
You need to be more specific as to what it is that you're reusing in the computer. If you bought a new computer then no, you stuff will not be on it. If you buy a new house, will your stuff magically appear in the new house?? Nope. If you are reusing the hard drive, then yes everything will be on it but you will have to reinstall some drivers for the new computer.

The case has no affect on the computer and does not store any information. All the information is on the hard drive.
Your questions is confusing i think your useing the wrong terms. The computer case is the metal box. So you said you just getting the computer, do you meen your just getting all the internal parts such as mother board, proccesor, video card ram,so on and putting it together yourself? And the moniter is the computer screen you don't put it in things you just hook the cord up to the back of the computer. And finnally the hard drive holds all the information i.e files music games pictures.
No need. It will still be there where it was. i think...
