I am doing a project on how much money I would make if I sell all the metals from recycling a computer. I calculated some stuff and I got about 4$. Does that look reasonable???How much steel is used to make the computer case?
No way you would get that much for just the steel. Scrap steel sells for less than 300 a ton. There is maybe two pounds of steel in a case. Another pound or two in the harddrive. So less than a buck.
Copper is worth something but in the form it is in it is work a lot less.
