What are the guidelines for computer cases on airlines?

My husband and I going to be flying for a business trip. He said he heard that there is a new regulation regarding laptop carrying cases. Something about having to have a FAA Approved Laptop Case with no zippers, etc. I can't find anything on the TSA website or our airline site. Has anyone else heard anything about this new regulation?

Thanks for your help. We don't have to fly very often, so we just want to make sure before we get to the airport. What are the guidelines for computer cases on airlines?
You don't have to purchase a special new bag, especially if he doesn't travel often. There are new bags on the market that allow passengers to go through security without removing their computers. Here's a link to the TSA's website with all the info http://www.tsa.gov/press/happenings/simp鈥?/a>

Again, if you don't wish to purchase one of these new TSA friendly bags you don't' have to, you just remove your computer from whatever bag it's in.What are the guidelines for computer cases on airlines?
No, there is no regulation, since you have to take the laptop out of its case anyway to go through security.
