ok...what are the cases of computers made of...aluminum? or what, i want to sell them to a scrap yard and i'm jus wondering what they are made of so i can find out how much i can get from them...

Cases are usually made of steel. Aluminum cases are VERY light, you'll know when you see one.
And yes, take the components out. Those go to a separate recycler.Question on old computers and computer cases?驴?
any scrap metal dealer will buy them because they can be recycled but you are not going to get much money
